Bills AFC East Rival Places Bradley Chubb, Others on PUP List

For a team that has won the last four AFC East titles, the Buffalo Bills aren't entering 2024 as the odds-on favorite.

With the Miami Dolphins fielding a strong offense, the Jets grouping a talented roster overall, and the Bills losing many key players from the last few years, their dominance in the division could certainly come to an end this year.

Making things at least a little easier could be the fact that Buffalo's chief competition for the division just so happens to be dealing with some major injuries.

The Dolphins placed linebackers Bradley Chubb, Cam Goode, and offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn on the PUP list to begin the 2024 season meaning they will be missing the first four weeks of the regular season.

That means Buffalo and Miami's Week 2 contest will be played with the Dolphins missing one of the better pass rushers in the game, and one of their most trusted offensive lineman.

Miami will also have their top players miss games against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, and Tennessee Titans.

While missing the first four games of the regular season is not a death knell for any player or team, it could open up the possibility of the Bills opening a small lead for the division early on.

A lead that could prove useful later in the year.
