The Minnesota Vikings cut 14 players Monday morning in their first wave of cuts ahead of the looming deadline.

All NFL teams have to have their rosters trimmed to 53 players by 3 p.m. Tuesday, meaning several more tough decision lie ahead.

The first wave of cuts didn’t include any surprises, featuring the following players:

    • QB Matt Corral
    • RB DeWayne McBride
    • TE Sammis Reyes
    • RB Mo Ibrahim
    • CB Jaylin Williams
    • TE Neal Johnson
    • WR Justin Hall
    • OLB Owen Porter
    • OL Chuck Filiaga
    • OL Doug Nester
    • OL Matt Cindric
    • OL Spencer Rolland
    • DL Tyler Manoa
    • CB A.J. Green III

Porter may be the most notable, as he flashed some nice potential during the preseason. He may still be a practice squad priority if he clears waivers, as could Corral, Williams and McBride.
