The Los Angeles Rams are set to welcome back several key players for their Week 1 matchup against the Detroit Lions. Head coach Sean McVay announced that wide receiver Puka Nacua, offensive linemen Jonah Jackson and Alaric Jackson, and cornerback Darious Williams will all be available to play.

Nacua, who had been sidelined with a knee injury since early August, participated in practice on Monday, showing promising signs of recovery. He made a significant impact last season, breaking records for rookie receptions and receiving yards.

Jonah Jackson has also returned from a shoulder injury that kept him out of action for several weeks. He signed with the Rams in March after four seasons with the Lions and is eager to face his former team.

Darious Williams, who missed practice time due to a hamstring strain, is expected to be ready for the game as well. Williams rejoined the Rams this offseason after two years with the Jacksonville Jaguars, having previously played a crucial role in their Super Bowl-winning team.

Alaric Jackson is back in practice but will not play in Week 1 due to a suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. He will be eligible to return in Week 3.

Additionally, McVay mentioned that tackle Rob Havenstein is uncertain for the game as he deals with an ankle injury. However, he will not be placed on injured reserve, which would have sidelined him for at least four games.

The Rams are gearing up for their season opener, and the return of these players is a positive development as they prepare to take on the Lions.
