On Monday night, the Indiana Fever, led by WNBA All-Stars Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston, traveled to Atlanta for the second time this season to face the Dream. The Fever will look to bounce back after a disappointing loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Saturday.

During the game, with 3:10 remaining in the first quarter, concern emerged as Clark went down with what appeared to be a left ankle injury. The injury occurred as Clark was trying to fight through a screen and rolled her ankle in the process.

The former Iowa Hawkeyes star was down on the court in some pain for roughly 30 seconds before being helped to the bench.

Clark returned to action to start the second quarter, so the injury was nothing serious. But it did have fans holding their breath for a few minutes.

This is not the first time Clark has scared fans during a game. In her fourth WNBA contest against the Connecticut Sun, Clark had to go to the locker room during the first half with another ankle injury but returned to action in the second half.

In 29 games this season, Clark is averaging 17.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists. She has led the Fever to a 13-16 record, sitting comfortably in playoff position for the time being.
