The Caitlin Clark effect was on full display on Monday as the Atlanta Dream hosted the Indiana Fever in what turned out to be a massive show of force from the fans in Georgia. So much so, that the 17,608-strong home crowd at the State Farm Arena set a new record for the most-watched WNBA game in Georgia history.

For her part, this has become a bit of a common occurrence for Clark. Apart from breaking records on the court on a regular basis, the 22-year-old also has the ability to pack stadiums and generate viewership at record-breaking numbers.

As a matter of fact, the home-court advantage for teams hosting the Fever almost becomes non-existent because of all the fan support Clark draws in. In this respect, the former Iowa superstar was asked if she felt her team gains a certain edge whenever they play in bigger stadiums such as the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Clark was brutally honest in her response.

“I don’t think it gives us an advantage, I think we’re used to it ," she said after Indiana's 84-79 victory, via Malik Brown of ClutchPoints. "I think if anything it gives them a little fire. It’s like ‘This is our home crowd, this is our home stadium.’ You want to defend your home court, that’s how we feel when we’re at home in front of our crowd.

"But I don’t think any crowd intimidates us, and honestly, you can tell they’re just there for good basketball. They’re almost cheering for both teams it feels like. It’s still a very intense basketball environment, but I think we’ve gotten experience in those environments.”

Monday's game against the Dream was a perfect example of Clark's point. The home crowd rallied behind the Dream, but there's no denying that a lot of them came to see Clark.

This young lady has the innate ability to convert opposing arenas to what almost feels like a home game for the Fever -- at times, at least. If that isn't revolutionizing the game then I don't know what is.
