In just a single season, James Cook has become not just the lead running back of the Buffalo Bills , but also one of the top complete runners in the NFL today.

His skill set as a receiver and runner has compared to his older brother in a way - former Vikings Pro Bowler Dalvin Cook.

While the older Cook brother is coming off his worst season as a pro, he could very well be on a new team heading into the 2024 season - and one that has been tied to the brothers for years.

The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly brought in Dalvin Cook for a visit after a six-year run in Minnesota (five with current Cowboys defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer) and rushed for 5,993 yards. He joined the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens in 2023 and suffered the worst year of his career - casting doubt if he could return to his Pro Bowl form at 29 years old.

Cook recorded just 214 yards for the Jets last season while recording a career-worst 3.2 yard-per-carry average.

While a signing has yet to be made at this time, the Cowboys are hoping to have the older Cook brother put forth his last bit of good football in his career.

The Bills don't have to worry about that with the younger brother just yet.

James Cook is coming off a year with over 1,500 total yards in Buffalo's offense. The brothers may not get a family reunion like last year, but that doesn't mean one of them will be out of the league just yet.
