Mavs’ Kyrie Irving Puts Fans 'In Scope' with New ANTA Shoe

Kyrie Irving can sell a shoe, no matter which company he partners with.

During his time at Nike, only three names could match the flame of the Australian native superstar: LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant. Without Nike, Irving has set a trail with ANTA, the Chinese athletic shoe brand. In 2023, Irving and ANTA partnered in a five-year deal. Irving's next shoe displays the masterful vision in which his brand operates.

To some, a kaleidoscope is a mere child's toy. However, to others, it's a lens of creativity and loops of beauty. Irving's latest shoe captures the wonder of a child's mind and the nostalgia of an adult. Its turquoise color illuminates the darkness of the predominantly black shoe.

Although Irving is still in the first generation of his new shoe line, the ANTA's KAI 1 will have eight colorways with the drop of the KAI-kaleidoscope. Irving's commitment to the athletic brand showcases his pride for anything his name touches. As Irving is the brand's Chief Creative Officer, the influential guard will likely recruit more athletes.

The KAI-kaleidoscope releases on Aug. 31 at 11 AM Central Time. You must subscribe to the drop via email, as the number of shoes is limited.
