According to Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay , a recent trade proposal has linked Aiyuk with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his latest analysis, Kay suggested a blockbuster deal that could see Aiyuk head to Pittsburgh in exchange for significant draft capital.

“Steelers Receive: WR Brandon Aiyuk,” Kay stated. “49ers Receive: 2025 second-round pick, 2025 third-round pick.”

The Steelers, who are determined to revamp their offense after a lackluster 2023 season, are eyeing Aiyuk as a key addition to complement emerging star George Pickens alongside newly acquired quarterback Russell Wilson.

Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle further reported that Pittsburgh had previously offered two Day 2 draft picks for Aiyuk. Although no trade has been finalized yet, the possibility of Aiyuk moving to the Steelers remains strong as Week 1 approaches.
