The Indiana Fever secured a narrow victory against the Atlanta Dream on Monday despite the team's fourth-quarter collapse.

Indiana's usual contributors, Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Micthell, and Ailyah Boston, led the team on both ends of the floor.

While the Fever were looking for help in the painted area, they plugged in center Temi   Fagbenle. She was a big body on the floor, which gave Indiana a chance to play with size on offense and defense, but Fagbenle struggled for much of the night.

She finished the game with two points and three rebounds, shooting 25% from the field. Fagbenle had shooting splits of 1-of-4 and also committed a personal foul in 11 minutes of the game action.

Following her performance of the Dream, Fagbenle took to social media to share her regret about the way she played.

She mentioned that it seemed like she did everything in her power to force a Fever loss, but they were still able to come away with the 84-79 victory.

"Mood after smoking both layups after her two great passes," Fagbenle said with a picture of Caitlin Clark.... "A win's a win, but, icl, it seems like I was doing all I could to prevent that tonight lol. Smh, onwards and upwards!"

Fagbenle played in her second WNBA game since Jul. 2. She returned to the court after dealing with a thumb injury, playing in her first matchup on Aug. 24 against the Minnesota Lynx.

The talented center will take some time to get back to game form after missing over a month, but even she realizes her near-crucial mistakes against Atlanta.

Throughout the season, Fagbenle has averaged 7.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

Indiana and Fagbenle have 10 more games left in the regular season before they look to make their first playoff appearance since 2016.
