Giants Reveal Initial 53-Man Roster

It’s been a grueling couple of days as the New York Giants whittled down their roster from 90 men to 53 in accordance to Tuesday’s 4 p.m. deadline.

The Giants released their moves in waves, first cutting those with little chance to make the practice squad before kicking the can down the road on tough decisions that warranted additional consideration.

For now, the work is done, and while waiver claims are a near certainty, the initial 53-man roster is set.

According to Dan Duggan , the following Giants were at practice on Tuesday.

Quarterback (3): Daniel Jones , Drew Lock, Tommy DeVito

Running Back (3): Devin Singletary, Tyrone Tracy, Eric Gray

Receiver (6): Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton, Wan’Dale Robinson, Jalin Hyatt, Gunner Olszewski, Bryce Ford-Wheaton

Tight End (3): Daniel Bellinger, Theo Johnson, Chris Manhertz

Offensive Line (10): Andrew Thomas, Jon Runyan Jr., John Michael Schmitz, Greg Van Roten, Jermaine Eluemunor, Aaron Stinnie, Evan Neal, Joshua Ezeudu, Austin Schlottmann, Jake Kubas

Defensive Line (5): Dexter Lawrence, Rakeem Nuñez-Roches, D.J. Davidson, Elijah Chatman, Jordan Riley

Edge Rusher (5): Brian Burns , Kayvon Thibodeaux, Azeez Ojulari, Boogie Basham, Benton Whitley

Linebacker (6): Bobby Okereke, Micah McFadden, Dyontae Johnson, Carter Coughlin, Darius Muasau, Matthew Adams
