    Los Angeles Angels manager Ron Washington gathered the entire team for a crucial 90-minute meeting before their game in Detroit. This marked the first team meeting since the season-opening series in Baltimore. The Angels are currently struggling, having lost five consecutive games and 13 of their last 16, with their offense largely absent during this stretch.

    “We can’t let what happened in Toronto affect what we have to do from today forward,” Washington said via the Los Angeles Daily News. “That’s what that was all about.”
