Victor Wembanyama in 'Easy' Mode?

Before Victor Wembanyama existed in the NBA universe, fans reserved a player of his build as a "cheese" NBA 2K-created MyPlayer. However, as basketball progresses, along with the future athletes, San Antonio Spurs Wembanyama represents a future where numerous stars are built like a cheat code in a video game. In recent NBA 2K25 footage, Wembanyama dominated his opponents in many scenarios.

Although NBA 2K25 releases on Sept. 6, the video game company held its annual community day. On community day, NBA 2K promoters and developers "pass the sticks" to YouTube personalities, game critics, and other influential figures on video game-adjacent platforms to describe the game to their followers/fans.

Fittingly, the opening play of the video game highlight reel showcased Wembanyama's defensive skills as his video game model snatched an opponent's shot mid-air using two hands.

Aside from the lone defensive play, the user spammed Wembanyama with dribble animations from the perimeter and the mid-range, including a step-back 3-point shot with the shot clock waning.

Although some plays seemed realistic regarding his skill and shot diet, many X (formerly known as Twitter) users pointed out how Wembanyama easily converted on the tough shots in NBA 2K25, suggesting the person playing had the game on rookie difficulty.

Wembanyama's NBA 2K25 player model is rated 91 overall. If Wembanyama's offense morphs into the leaked NBA 2K25 footage, the league might as well award the Spurs star the MVP and Defensive Player of the Year awards.

However, don't expect Wembanyama to dominate at all facets of offense in year two, as there are no slider settings in real life.
