Who Have Giants Signed to Practice Squad?

    By Anthony Licciardi,

The hard work is over. The New York Giants have successfully worked their 90-man offseason roster down to 53 , in the process releasing several fringe players who are still capable of contributing.

Some will find homes on other teams’ practice squads, others will meet a lesser fate. New York welcomed plenty back, too.

Let’s take a look at how their practice squad sits.

The following are presumed to be on the practice squad after being seen at practice on Wednesday, per Dan Duggan .

    • Running Back Dante Miller
    • Fullback Jakob Johnson
    • Receiver Isaiah Hodgins
    • Receiver Miles Boykin
    • Tight End Lawrence Cager
    • Offensive Tackle Josh Miles
    • Offensive Tackle Marcellus Johnson
    • Center Jimmy Morrissey
    • Defensive Tackle Casey Rogers
    • Edge Rusher Tomon Fox
    • Linebacker K.J. Cloyd
    • Linebacker Ty Summers
    • Safety Alex Johnson
    • Safety Raheem Layne
    • Kicker Jude McAtamney

That’s 15 players, and while the practice squads are generally 16 players deep, an exception is made for the international pathway program. Teams electing to keep a player through the international exemption allows them to get an extra (17th) spot for said player.

The Giants are doing that with McAtamney, the Rutgers kicker who was born in Ireland. Thus, two open spots remain.
