Deebo Samuel Sends Cryptic Message In Support of Trent Williams

The San Francisco 49ers are in the middle of an extremely stressful and controversial off-season as they await the “hold-ins” to end from superstar offensive linemen Trent Williams and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, who are both seeking new long-term contracts.

The 49ers open the season against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. Less than two weeks away, and it doesn't seem like any significant movement has been made, which is very worrisome for the 49ers nation.

On Wednesday, Deebo Samuel posted to his Instagram story with clear intentions behind it. Showing support to the best offensive linemen in football and wanting him to be back on the field with the team as the season approaches.

However, the stats don't lie. In his last 983 pass blocking attempts, Williams has only allowed one sack. He was a first-team All-Pro in his last three seasons and has made the Pro Bowl in every single season since 2012. He's truly the best linemen in football, however, he is 36. Which could be why there remains to be a standstill.

A future first-ballot hall-of-famer without a doubt, and now he continues to be adamant about not setting foot on the field in pads until a new contract is set in place, and that just hasn't happened yet.
