The Kevin Durant-Steph Curry partnership will go down as arguably the greatest partnership of all time. Two legends of the game linking up during the height of their powers? It's a partnership rivaled by only a few teams in the league.

Of course, with that partnership came some adjustments from both players. Both Durant and Curry were used to being the main guy on offense at that point. Of course, with both players teaming up, they had to learn to play off the ball.

According to former Warriors veteran Shaun Livingston, it was Curry who had to make a bigger adjustment.

"Steph [Curry] took a step back & had to make the biggest adjustment," Livingston said on the Players Tribune's podcast. "I think there was internal conservation amongst the two… That’s when we [were] really [unstoppable].”

This was a problem that most superteams faced. From the LeBron James-led Heatles to the Kobe-Shaq Lakers, stars always struggled with who gets the most touches in the team.

It was rough at first, but the Warriors eventually figured it out. For Steph, he needed to return to his roots as an off-ball threat to maximize the threat of Durant's scoring. It's safe to say that the partnership worked out well, as it gave the duo two rings.

Between 2016 and 2019, Curry averaged 26.3 points and six assists per game. Durant, on the other hand, averaged 25.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. That dynamic duo terrorized the league for three years.
