Indiana Fever Deliver Three-Word Message to Caitlin Clark After She Makes WNBA History

Caitlin Clark has added yet another record in a rookie year that's been one for the WNBA history books.

The Indiana Fever guard set the WNBA rookie record for most 3-pointers in a single season during Wednesday's win over the Connecticut Sun. Clark entered the game with 85 total 3-pointers, tied with the record set by Atlanta Dream wing Rhyne Howard, but it didn't take long to topple the record.

Clark connected on a stepback three with just over seven minutes remaining in the first quarter of Wednesday's game, giving herself the record. She went on to make two more 3-pointers in the game, adding to her record.

After Clark's historic shot, the Indiana Fever took to social media to share some praise for the rookie in a simple statement.

"rook's got range," the team wrote in a post on X , adding an emoji of a drawn bow and arrow.

Clark has set a number of other league records in her rookie season, already breaking the record for most assists by a rookie with 247 and becoming the first rookie to record a triple-double in a July 6 game against the New York Liberty.
