Simone Biles Sends Emotional Team USA Message to Fans

Even a month after her incredible performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, U.S. gymnast Simone Biles is still all about supporting Team USA.

In Paris, Biles didn’t just win a single gold medal. Instead, she secured three gold medals and a silver, bringing her total Olympic medal count to 11. When combined with her 30 World Championship medals, she has become the most decorated gymnast in the history of the sport.

At 27, Biles has been representing Team USA for some time now. From her international debut at the 2013 American Cup to competing in three different Olympics, she’s always shown her passion for the country.

Biles has expressed gratitude for the support she received during her Olympics run, but she’s also reminded everyone that Paralympians deserve the same kind of love.

On Thursday, Biles urged her fans to cheer on Team USA at the Paralympics, which began on August 28 and will continue until September 8.

"don't forget the Paralympics are on! let's support these incredible athletes 💙 GO USA!!!!" she wrote.

The Paralympics, also taking place in Paris, are a multisport international competition similar to the Olympics but for those with disabilities. It features 22 sports, including track and field, swimming, wheelchair basketball and sitting volleyball.

Team USA has sent 225 athletes to the Paralympics this year, including stars like swimmer Jessica Long, cyclist Oksana Masters and sprinter Hunter Woodhall .

During the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, China topped the medal count for the fifth consecutive time. It will be interesting to see if Team USA can break that streak this year.

One thing is for sure, we know that Biles will be tuned in and cheering them on.
