Deion Sanders and his Colorado squad begin their quest for redemption on Thursday, August 29, against FCS powerhouse North Dakota State.

Certainly, not a cupcake game to open the year for the Buffs as the Bison rank as the No. 2 team in the FCS and have a 9-4 record against FBS programs since 2006. Regardless, Sanders and his team are looking to build off of their 4-8 season in 2023 that saw them start 3-0, and captivate the college football world.

They will have the attention of college football again on Thursday, and fans across the country will see them donning new uniforms. Something that social media is torn over.

"An L before the game even starts," wrote one fan.

"The traditional gold helmets are much better," added another.

"Honestly they could’ve just played in the practice uniforms these are so bad," replied another fan.

"Oh man these are soooooooo bad 😬😬😬," expressed another.

"Uniforms awful," one fan bluntly wrote .

However, some fans are loving the new look.

"These are fire. Love the flatirons 🔥," wrote one fan who was feeling the look.

"Those uniforms are sick," added another.

Regardless of what the fans think, a few players were flexing the new jerseys on their Instagram stories. So, the players clearly like them, and we all know what Sanders says about how looking good coincides with playing good.

According to ESPN, Colorado is now an 11.5-point favorite, and has a 71.3% chance of beating the Bison.
