Chicago Sky Fans Concerned For Chennedy Carter Before Game vs. Caitlin Clark, Fever

There's a lot of hype surrounding Friday's showdown between the Chicago Sky and the Indiana Fever. Naturally, the fans are gravitating toward this mouth-water matchup to see rookie sensations Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese battle it out on the court.

It goes without saying, however, that this highly-anticipated clash does not solely revolve around Clark and Reese as there will be 10 players on the floor at any given time during the game. Unfortunately for Chicago, star guard Chennedy Carter might not be one of them.

Carter, who missed Wednesday's loss against the Washington Mystics, could be out for a second straight game on Friday. This is after the 25-year-old was listed as questionable to play due to health and safety protocols.

It is worth noting that Chicago's practice was canceled on Tuesday after some players reported feeling sick.

The team has since been testing their players for COVID-19.

This latest development has understandably prompted more than a few worried reactions from Sky supporters.

"Is she ok? Whats going on? Tanking?" asked a confused fan.

"Everybody gather around for a prayer circle for chennedy," a comment read.

"She will play. She will play. She will play." said another.

"Literally our only hope," expressed a fan.

It sounds like Carter is headed for a game-time decision so we will be sure to keep monitoring this situation ahead of tip-off.
