Travis Hunter Reveals Blunt Message to Deion Sanders During Week 1 Game

Colorado's two-way wonder, Travis Hunter, put on an absolute clinic as a wide receiver in the Buffaloes' season-opening win against North Dakota State.

Hunter also plays cornerback, but it was wideout where he shined brightest August 29, Thursday evening, amassing 132 receiving yards on just seven total catches. But he wasn't even the leader on the team, since Jimmy Horn came down with seven catches of his own but for 198 yards.

However, Hunter did best Horn in the touchdown department, scoring three, including his final one to win the game, which left jaws on the carpet across the country. Take a look:

Hunter holds his ground, keeps the ball secure and fends off a defender draped all over him to haul in the most important catch of the game. Moments after the final horn, he hopped on SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt to discuss his mindset entering that play.

"I just had a lot of confidence in myself," said Hunter. "I told my coach: 'Third down, give me the ball, we're going to win this game.' And I do what I have to do: catch the ball, get a touchdown and let's go."
