Friday night, for the last time this season, we get to witness another clash between the top two rookie of the year favorites in the WNBA .

The Indiana Fever are set to travel to Chicago to take on the Sky . The Fever are down to their final nine games, while the Sky have ten remaining.

Since returning from the Olympic hiatus, these two teams have been trending in completely different directions. The Fever have won four out of five and are 15-16 (3rd in Eastern), while the Sky are 11-19 overall (4th in Eastern) and have lost five out of their last six.

However, this will be the third game between the two rookie stars, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese . With the season nearing the end, this could play a vital factor in how they look at rookie of the year. This will be the most recent head-to-head performance to go off of.

The average ticket price, according to ClutchPoints , is $884. An unprecedented number for the WNBA.

Although Clark seems to be the frontrunner. Leading all rookies in points, assists, steals, free throw percentage, field goals made, and three pointers made. She is averaging 18.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.1 assists on the season.

Reese, on the other hand, impacts the game from a different standpoint. She is a double-double machine. She is the fastest player to reach 20 doubles in WNBA history. She has recorded 76 rebounds over her last four games. She had 14 rebounds against the Washington Mystics Wednesday night, but the three games prior she had 20+ in all of them.

On the season, Reese is averaging 13.3 points, 12.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.3 steals. An historic season for both rookies.
