Shaquille O’Neal’s Massive Sale Makes News

Shaquille O'Neal is a savvy businessman. The NBA legend's latest real estate move proves as much.

According to Realtor.com, O'Neal sold his Texas mansion worth nearly $1.7 million, just one month after putting it on the market. The final selling price was not disclosed, however.

The speed at which he was able to sell it was already impressive enough, considering that not all former and current athletes have had much success selling their properties that fast. Making things even better, it seems Shaq made a pretty good amount of money from the latest deal.

Back in 2022, the same property was up for sale for $1.22 million.

Shaquille O'Neal's sold property is located in Carrollton, Texas, in a gated community called Gates of Prestonwood.

The 5,200-square-foot mansion features five bedrooms, as well as five full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. There's also a fireplace, a cigar lounge and a home theater, along with spacious living areas. Outside the house, a "grotto-style pool" can be found, per Realtor.

O'Neal's net worth is estimated to be $500 million , according to multiple reports. He has several businesses, including restaurants, carwashes and gyms. Apparently, per Fanarch, he also owns a number of nightclubs .

With his latest success in real estate, fans might see him expand his portfolio in that area soon.
