In the sports media world, ESPN's First Take has become known as a platform for analysts and reporters to get off some of their hottest takes over the past decade or so.

With the environment fostered by Stephen A. Smith and the other talking heads who go on that show, it's commonplace to hear outlandish opinions on those airwaves.

On Friday morning, though, we might have heard one of the boldest predictions of the year in the NFL world, and it has to do with who is going to win the Super Bowl this year when all is said and done.

ESPN's Mike Tannenbaum predicts that the Green Bay Packers will be that team.

"They are young and they are deep," Tannenbaum said. "When you talk about a team that's going to be young at the beginning of the season but get better as the season goes along, I like Detroit and Green Bay in the NFC Championship Game, I have Green Bay winning that game, and then I love Love over Mahomes and the Chiefs, winning the Super Bowl."

The Packers, led by quarterback Jordan Love , are a hot team when it comes to preseason buzz, and there are a lot of expectations that they could be among the contenders in the NFC. But will they win the Super Bowl? That is a take that feels a bit hot.
