Bobby Miller is pushing through a left knee injury as he continues to pitch for the Los Angeles Dodgers . Despite facing challenges this season, he remains a key part of the team’s rotation.

During a recent game, Miller drew attention when he showed signs of discomfort after covering first base. His teammate signaled for medical assistance as Miller limped off the field. After the game, he acknowledged the ongoing issue with his knee but expressed gratitude for the training staff's support in managing his health.

“It was just the left knee. It’s something I’ve been dealing with for a while. Our training staff has done an outstanding job of keeping me healthy and keeping me out there, so I’m really thankful for them,” Miller said as quoted by Dodger Blue.

“But yeah, everything just kind of went downhill after that. I wasn’t finishing my pitches as good, and losing some stuff arm side. But it’s no excuse to not make a pitch.”

Miller struggled with his performance as the game progressed, particularly in the fifth inning when he failed to reach first base in time for a potential double play. This misstep allowed an opposing player to hit a three-run home run, narrowing the Dodgers' lead.

Despite these setbacks, Miller felt he pitched well for most of the game, noting that one bad pitch has been a recurring theme in his recent outings. He remains optimistic about improving his performance moving forward.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts is not overly concerned about Miller’s injury. He noted that Miller was throwing effectively before the discomfort set in and believes the young pitcher will continue to contribute positively to the team.

As the Dodgers look to maintain their competitive edge, Miller's resilience will be crucial in the games ahead.
