Colorado's dynamic duo of quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter shined in their Week 1 win against North Dakota State on Thursday.

They led the Buffs to a 31-26 victory, and connected for three touchdowns. Their final touchdown was the dagger of sorts, as it extended their lead to 31-20, which made up for some late play-calling issues and fended off a final charge from the Bison.

However, the two actually got into a heated argument on the sideline moments before they connected for what turned out to be a great catch. In a video uploaded by Deion Sanders Jr., Shedeur Sanders can be seen scolding Hunter for missing on a potential touchdown earlier that drive after the wide receiver appeared to be upset.

"Shut up," Sanders told Hunter. "Catch the first one."

A response that led to Hunter beginning to tell Sanders that the defensive back was grabbing his arm, before Sanders cut him off with a blunt message.

"I don't give a f***," Sanders told Hunter. "Catch it."

So, that's exactly what Hunter did the next time the ball was thrown his way. The Buffs appeared to run the same look a few plays later, and with the defender draped all over him, this time, Hunter hauled in what could go down as the catch of the year.

Hunter finished the game tied for the team lead in catches with seven, while racking up 132 yards receiving in addition to the three scores. He also helped out on defense for Colorado, adding three total tackles. In total, Hunter played 129 snaps, missing just two plays in the entire game, with one of them being due to the fact that his helmet had come off.

As for Sanders, he went 26-of-34 for 445 yards and four touchdowns.

The duo will return to action on Saturday, September 7, against their bitter rival, Nebraska.
