Bills Over/Under Win Projection - People 'Way Too Low' On Buffalo?

    By Adam Schultz,

The Buffalo Bills are perhaps one of the teams that have divided opinion the most as we look ahead to Week 1.

With so much roster turnover, especially on offense, many are questioning how Josh Allen can elevate a receiver room without a bonafide No. 1 receiver and take the team to the playoffs.

But some are bullish on the Bills, particularly due to No. 17, and CBS Sports' Jared Dubin is one of those. With the Bills' over/under win projection set at 10.5, Dubin thinks Buffalo will exceed that in 2024.

"The last time Buffalo won fewer than 11 games was back in 2019, when the season was still 16 games long and Josh Allen hadn't had his true breakout yet," Dubin writes . "People are WAY too low on the Bills this year, and if I'm getting plus money (+135) to bet on this team essentially hitting its floor, that feels like stealing."

Allen's supporting cast consists of Keon Coleman, Mack Hollins, Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox are other pass-catching options.

Plus, running backs James Cook and Ray Davis are equally adept at running the football as they are catching it. So, Allen does have enough weapons, and it's just whether or not he can bring it all together in Joe Brady's system.

The AFC East is a tough division, and the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins both have Super Bowl aspirations. The Bills will hope that Allen can still position Buffalo to be a playoff team in 2024.

But will they win 11 games?
