WATCH: Ashton Daniels Finds Jackson Harris For Stanford's First Touchdown Of Their ACC Era

The Stanford Cardinal opened up their 2024 season on Friday evening against the TCU Horned Frogs with a touchdown.

It wasn't always pretty getting there, but all that matters is the seven points on the board. The Horned Frogs bailed Stanford out on 3rd-and-13 and 3rd-and-18 with penalties, and then on another long third down, Ashton Daniels almost went from having a heroic effort to a massive blunder.

On 3rd-of-19 and yes, this is still a part of the same drive, he scrambled for 31-yard but ended up fumbling the ball. The Cardinal recovered, and two players later Daniels found Jackson Harris in the end zone for his first career touchdown catch.

Stanford's lead didn't last long as the Horned Frogs drove down the field and answered with a touchdown of their own.
