George Kittle is celebrating his teammate Brandon Aiyuk's recent contract extension with the San Francisco 49ers . Aiyuk secured a four-year deal worth $120 million, and Kittle reached out to congratulate him, though he understands Aiyuk may be busy with messages from others.

Kittle expressed his relief that the offseason uncertainty surrounding Aiyuk is behind them. He looks forward to having Aiyuk back on the field, emphasizing the positive impact of their camaraderie in the locker room.

"He kind of had a life-changing moment, so we're all excited for him," Kittle told Kay Adams on the "Up & Adams" show.

Last season, Kittle had a strong performance, amassing 1,020 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Aiyuk, however, led the team with 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns. With both players returning, along with key contributors like Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel, the 49ers' offense is poised for a strong Super Bowl run.

Reflecting on Aiyuk's contract negotiations, Kittle admitted there were moments of concern during the process. However, he is now focused on the upcoming season and the excitement of playing alongside Aiyuk once again.

"I'm just happy that it's over, and I get Brandon Aiyuk back on the football field, and I get to see his smiling face every single day in the locker room," Kittle said. "That's what I'm looking forward to because he's such a good dude. I'm looking forward to just starting this journey again with him.

"So let's get it, let's get him out there catching football passes for Mr. [Brock] Purdy."
