Pat McAfee Gets Off a Zinger on Nick Saban on ESPN College GameDay

The GameDay crew was going through the slate for Week 1 Saturday and they came to Boise State at Georgia Southern.

It was Nick Saban's turn to pick and he told a story. Boise State offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter (Oregon's opponent next week, former OC at Oregon for Mike Bellotti) was a coach he always tried to hire at Alabama but never could. The timing hadn't been right.

And Pat McAfee, always irreverent and intimidated by no one, not even the GOAT, piped up, "That's because you were spending all your money on your players, coach."

It's going to be a fun year.
