    49ers Rookie WR Ricky Pearsall Shot While Robbed, Is In Stable Condition

    Florida receiver Ricky Pearsall, who was selected with the 31st overall pick in the first round, was shot on Saturday during an incident in San Francisco's Union Square, per multiple reports. According to the San Francisco Police Department, Pearsall was shot in the chest while going to a signing event on Geary and Market streets. The assailant wanted Pearsall's Rolex watch, and there was a struggle for the gun.

    Pearsall is in stable condition.

    New teammate Deebo Samuel provided an update on Pearsall's condition via social media. Hamstring and shoulder injuries prevented Pearsall from playing in the preseason.
