Rachaad White had a solid year for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past season, but his efficiency on the ground does raise some question marks about his value in fantasy football.

In a recent article by Pro Football Network's Michael Freer , he questions whether or not White should be drafted in fantasy as the 15th highest rated running back in the league, according to their Consensus Fantasy Football Rankings .

"While White was a pleasant surprise for fantasy managers a season ago, it still doesn’t put him in elite status at the running back position," Freer writes. "I’d like to see more from White before I select him anywhere before the middle rounds of a fantasy draft."

White averaged a disappointing 3.6 yards per carry, but he was still able to have a solid year, as he also got it done in the passing game.

He finished the year with 990 rushing yards with six touchdowns on the ground, and 549 receiving yards with three touchdowns through the air. His ability to contribute in many ways led him to be the RB10 in fantasy in the 2023 season.

Some question whether or not White is worth drafting in fantasy, but his receiving upside definitely makes him worth a shot to someone in need of a running back.
