UConn's Dan Hurley Champions His Favorite NFL Team As The Season Approaches

    By Cole Sullivan,

Connecticut Huskies head coach Dan Hurley is coming off back-to-back National Championships and made it very clear which NFL team he is supporting as Week 1 of the 2024-25 season approaches.

UConn has dominated over the last two seasons. They thrive in March and have shown that extensively since Hurley began to form the program the way he envisions.

He was offered the Los Angeles Lakers job this offseason, yet decided to remain with the Huskies and shoot for their third straight National Title.

However, Hurley is bringing his championship vibes to Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 8th and not for the team from New England, who's traveling in.

"Let’s go!! Home opener… Bringing Championship Vibes and Mojo to the Jungle!! Who Dey!!!" Hurley posted on X.

Every home game the Bengals have a 'Ruler of the Jungle' who gets the crowd fired up right before kick-off, and that's exactly where Dan Hurley comes in.

The Cincinnati Bengals open the season with the New England Patriots , and coaching in Connecticut, it only makes sense to get Hurley in the Queen City to get Joe Burrow and the Bengals fired up ahead of there season opener.
