Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell Go Viral For Insane Play In Fever-Wings

On Sunday afternoon, the Indiana Fever traveled south to take on the Dallas Wings for the second time this season. The Wings took the first game just before the Olympic break, 101-93.

The Fever's backcourt duo of Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell have been dominating in every game they have played in August. On their way to a 5-1 record, Clark won her first WNBA Player of the Week award, and Mitchell led the league in scoring.

Against the Wings, the two stars combined for an epic play that has landed all over social media.

Just two minutes into the game, Clark grabbed a rebound off of a Dallas miss and started dribbling down the court. The former Iowa Hawkeyes star then made a perfect full-court bounce pass to Mitchell.

Mitchell caught the ball under her own hoop and instantly made a behind-the-back pass around a defender to forward NaLyssa Smith for an easy layup.

WNBA fans were amazed by this sequence from the Fever and took to social media to leave their reactions.

"WHAT A PLAY by the Indiana Fever"

"the full-court pass from Caitlin Clark... the behind-the-back pass from Kelsey Mitchell... and the finish from NaLyssa Smith"

"These two passes from Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell"

"Caitlin Clark to Kelsey Mitchell to NaLyssa Smith... did not know Kelsey had that pass in her bag! That was sweet."

The Fever are looking for their sixth win in seven games following the WNBA's return. After Friday's win over the Chicago Sky, Indiana found themselves with the sixth seed in the WNBA playoffs, passing the Phoenix Mercury in the standings.
