On Sunday, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever secured a winning record (17-16) for the first time this season after a 100-93 win over the Dallas Wings. The Fever have now won six of their last seven games and have a 6-1 record following the Olympic break.

Clark led the way for Indiana once again with 28 points on 10-of-19 shooting and 12 assists. Kelsey Mitchell added a game-high 36 points on 12-of-22 shooting. WNBA All-Star MVP Arike Ogunbowale had 34 points of her own.

After the game, Clark and Mitchell met up with WNBA and Houston Comets legend Cynthia Cooper, greeting each other with a hug and posing for a picture.

After four years with the USC Trojans from 1982-1986, Cooper played overseas for over a decade. She joined the WNBA in its inaugural season in 1997 and only played five seasons. During her short WNBA career, Cooper won four WNBA championships and two WNBA MVP awards.

Fans loved the first public meeting between Clark and Cooper and took to social media to leave their thoughts.
