Caden Dana made history as the youngest pitcher to win his debut for the Angels , leading the team to a 3-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners . The game took place on Sunday, marking a significant milestone for the 20-year-old right-hander.

Dana, who was called up after a standout season in Double-A, pitched six innings, allowing two runs and two hits. His performance included four strikeouts and four walks, showcasing his potential as the Angels' top pitching prospect. At 20 years and 259 days old, he is the youngest Angels pitcher to win a game since 2002.

The Angels got off to a strong start with Taylor Ward hitting a leadoff home run, extending his hitting streak to 12 games. Anthony Rendon later contributed a two-run single in the fifth inning, which proved crucial for the team's comeback.

Seattle's Luke Raley tied the game with a homer, but Dana held his ground, retiring the first five batters he faced before Raley's hit. The Mariners briefly took the lead in the third inning, but the Angels regained control in the fifth thanks to Rendon's timely hit.
