Can Josh Allen Stay At MVP Level for Bills in 2024?

The Buffalo Bills look a lot different than they have in recent seasons.

That's what happens when you trade away an All-Pro receiver, and release three defensive backs all with All-Pro talents in their own right.

Following a tumultuous offseason, the Bills are hoping and expecting they can remain competitive in a talented AFC thanks to the arms and legs of quarterback Josh Allen.

The All-Pro signal-caller is coming into the new year with his designed play-caller in Joe Brady but doesn't have a top receiving threat like he has in recent years. With Stefon Diggs now in Houston, the pressure on Allen has increased tenfold with even less of the talent around him.

For the Bills to remain competitive this season, they will need Allen to remain the MVP-caliber signal-caller he has been over the years.

While Buffalo won't have the star talent along with the skill players at key positions, but they do have some talent around to help Allen in key moments.

Players like running back James Cook, tight end Dalton Kincaid, and wide receiver Khalil Shakir are expected to all produce at high levels this season. Even second-round rookie Keon Coleman should be able to help Buffalo's offense in 2024.

In the end, though, it all comes down to Allen.

If Buffalo's franchise quarterback can remain a top player in the league, their chances of not only repeating as AFC East champions, but also competing for a run at the Super Bowl.
