Fans Are Roasting Florida Head Coach Billy Napier for the Most Hilarious Reason

Following the Florida Gators’ embarrassing 41-17 season-opening loss to the Miami Hurricanes, UF head coach Billy Napier took it on the chin during his post-game news conference where he was grilled by reporters seeking answers for such a bad blowout loss.

But getting routed by 24 points by the Hurricanes may not have been Napier’s most embarrassing moment of the weekend.

A video began circulating from Napier’s post-game news conference showing him struggling for a good 20 seconds trying to open a bottle of water. And fans were unrelenting in the comment section, hilariously roasting the 45-year-old coach.

“I'm 77 with arthritis in my hands and I don't think I have that much trouble,” one user commented .

“Wait until you find out how he does against the pickle jar,” joked another user.

“Strength and conditioning needs to tighten up. Can’t even get a bottle cap off,” a third user quipped .

“That water bottle simply has a better defense than Napier,” another said .

“Which is the more embarrassing L?” asked another.

While the water bottle incident was presumably quite humbling, Napier can at least wash the taste out of his mouth from the Miami loss by getting back on track against Samford in Week 2.

The Bulldogs lost 38-29 to West Georgia in their season opener, and they should be the kind of softball opponent to help the Gators clear their heads and get into the win column.
