Not every member of the Philadelphia Eagles is excited to kick off the 2024 regular season with a contest in Sao Paolo, Brazil against the Green Bay Packers.

From Darius Slay, A.J. Brown, to DeVonta Smith, plenty of Eagles players have spoken out regarding their dislike of having to open a regular season contest in a foreign country. From safety issues to a long travel plan, the Eagles have plenty of reasons to be concerned about the looming contest.

One particular player on the roster, though, has made it clear he not only is excited about the trip ahead but isn't even worried about the long plane ride either.

“Dude, this flight is not long at all," Eagles left tackle Jordan Mailata said. "It's going to be a walk in the park. ...It's a short flight.”

Of all the Eagles who can provide experience on this matter, Mailata is probably the best for it. The Australian native's first trip to the United States was when he was drafted by the team in 2018. Since then, he's become one of the best tackles in the game.

An average plane ride from Philadelphia to Brazil may be 10 hours, but one to Australia is over 22 hours - a clear sign that Mailata has not only made this trip before but knows how easy this could be for his roster.

And it would make sense for the rest of the roster to listen to their new captain.
