As the season approaches, the Buffalo Bills find themselves notably absent from NFL Analyst Bucky Brooks' "2024 NFL All-22 Roster." Despite efforts from quarterback Josh Allen and the rest of the team, no Bills player made the cut, while division rivals like the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets secured their places on the prestigious list.

Brooks’ list features players who have demonstrated elite performance and production across the league. Josh Allen, the centerpiece of the Bills’ offense, was dealt another loss by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Allen’s ‘Kryptonite’, Patrick Mahomes. Meanwhile, Tyreek Hill of the Dolphins and Sauce Gardner of the Jets were recognized for their exceptional play, further highlighting the competitive gap within the AFC East.

The Bills' absence from the roster corresponds with their placement at No. 23 in Sports Illustrated's 2024 skill-position rankings , reflecting challenges on offense after the departures of Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. As the Bills transition to a new-look lineup featuring James Cook at running back and Dalton Kincaid at tight end, questions remain about their ability to maintain offensive firepower. The addition of rookie receiver Keon Coleman and veteran Curtis Samuel adds some depth, but concerns about the overall effectiveness of Buffalo's attack persist.

Now entering his sixth season, Josh Allen continues to be a focal point of the Bills' strategy. However, Allen's turnover issues have raised questions about his ability to consistently lead the team to victories, particularly against strong division rivals. For Buffalo to reclaim its place at the top of the AFC, Allen must find new connections with Cook, Kincaid, and other emerging talents to keep the offense dynamic.

With the 2024 season set to begin, the Bills face the challenge of proving they can compete at the highest level. As they prepare to take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 , all eyes will be on how the revamped offensive unit performs against a formidable opponent. Despite not having any representatives on the All-22 roster, the Bills remain a team with potential, but they must quickly adapt to their new offensive reality to make a statement in a highly competitive division.
