World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler continues to show exactly why he holds that ranking.

He finished off the 2024 season by winning at the 2024 TOUR Championship on Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia. Scheffler finished at 30-under, beating out Collin Morikawa, who recorded a 26-under. The two started at 10-under and 4-under, respectively, due to their standings in the FedEx Cup.

The victory for Scheffler helped earn him a boatload of money, which was broken down by CBS Sports' Kyler Porter.

On top of the big payday, Scheffler also made history with his latest victory. According to The Athletic's Justin Ray, Scheffler's latest win marked the fewest days between win No. 1 and No. 13 since 1960.

He also made financial history, as winning the FedEx Cup netted him $25 million. A mark that, according to Golf Digest , set a record for official money earned with $29,228,357.

On the year, Scheffler won eight events and also nabbed gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Safe to say this will be a year that is going to be tough to top anytime soon.
