Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever have been on an absolute tear of late. They played four games this past week, with three of them being on the road. Indiana won all four contests and has now improved to 17-16 on the season.

For the first time this year, the Fever are above .500, as they surpass the Phoenix Mercury to climb to the No. 6 spot in the league.

This is exactly why it comes as no surprise that the surging Fever have also risen in the latest weekly edition of ESPN's WNBA power rankings. From fifth last week, Clark and Co. have now overtaken the three-peat-seeking Las Vegas Aces for the No. 4 spot on the list.

"As good as Mitchell, Clark and Boston have been, the rest of the Fever are doing their part , too," stated ESPN's senior writer Michael Voepel. "NaLyssa Smith has scored in double figures the past three games. Lexie Hull, known for her relentless defense, has scored in double figures in four of the Fever's past seven games.

"Hull did that just twice in Indiana's first 26 games. Damiris Dantas and Temi Fagbenle are veteran leaders who have really strengthened the bench."

    I see no lies here.

The fans on X, formerly Twitter, have certainly taken notice of Indiana's rapid rise, and they are all saying the same thing about Clark and the Fever.

"We were 12th dead last after week 1! #FeverRising has a new meaning to it!" stated a supporter.

"Fever have arrived," read a comment.

"🤣🤣🤣 What the haters gonna say now???? Fever Rising!!!!!" said another.

"This crazy cuz the Fever couldn’t buy a W at the beginning of the season.. the league in trouble 👀" a reader observed.

"she's coming for that mvp and ring," predicted a fan.

The Fever are one of, if not the hottest team in the WNBA right now and the fans are celebrating their rise to glory.

Although they've already achieved so much this season, the fact of the matter is that there's still a long road ahead for Clark and the Fever. With seven games remaining in the regular season, this team will do everything they can to keep the momentum going as they look to improve their standing in the league.

The WNBA Playoffs will start on September 22, and that's when the real work begins.
