Indiana Fever Makes Significant Roster Announcement Before Sparks Clash

The Indiana Fever have been on a roll as of late, as they have won six of their past seven games amid their furious playoff push down the stretch of the 2024 WNBA campaign.

However, ahead of their upcoming game against the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday night, the team has made a concerning roster announcement.

While Caitlin Clark and company have been rolling as of late, they could be without one of their key rotation pieces in Temi Fagbenle for their upcoming game. The Fever announced that Fagbenle is questionable for the game due to a right shoulder injury, meaning her status will be worth watching over the next 24 hours.

After spending the past four seasons playing overseas, Fagbenle has managed to carve out a spot with the Fever this year, and she has quickly become one of their top contributors off the bench (6.5 PPG, 5 RPG, 0.9 APG, 48.8 FG%).

Due to this shoulder injury, though, the Fever could find themselves short handed in a crucial matchup with the Sparks.

Given how well Clark and the rest of the team have been playing, though, they should be able to win either way, although they would obviously rather have Fagbenle at their disposal, making her injury status a storyline worth watching ahead of this game.
