USA Gymnastics confirmed that it is still fighting to get back Jordan Chiles' third-place finish during the floor exercise final of the 2024 Olympics.

As many fans would know, Chiles was stripped of her bronze medal after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) voided the inquiry that elevated her from fifth to third place. As a result, Romania's Ana Barbosu was given the podium finish and a bronze medal.

USA Gymnastics, however, said previously that it would bring the issue to the Swiss Federal Tribunal, the highest court in Switzerland that can take appeals on rulings made by tribunals such as the CAS.

There had been no updates on USA Gymnastics' appeal about Chiles' case over the past couple of weeks. However, when a fan asked the organization for any news on its post about Chiles, it responded with a firm statement.

"We’re still pursuing justice for Jordan!" USA Gymnastics wrote.

Chiles initially placed fifth in the floor exercise with a score of 13.666. But after her coach, Cecile Landi, challenged her difficulty score, she was granted an extra 0.10 point. It bumped her to third place with 13.766, while Barbosu (13.700) dropped to fourth.

Unfortunately, after the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee appealed the decision to the CAS, it was found that Landi's challenge came four seconds after the one-minute deadline. The CAS then ruled to restore the initial rankings, which the International Gymnastics Federation and International Olympic Committee followed.

USA Gymnastics tried to appeal the decision to the CAS, but the court said it could no longer take appeals on cases with a final ruling.

It's unknown when exactly USA Gymnastics will get a response regarding its appeal on the CAS ruling related to Jordan Chiles. But sure enough, as the organization said, it won't stop until it gets "justice" for what happened to the 23-year-old star.

As for Chiles, she's trying hard to move on with her life amid the appeal process. She recently ended her social media hiatus and has been actively making public appearances. In fact, she served as a guest along with Simone Biles during the Houston Astros' tribute for Houston Olympians.

Hopefully, though, fans will receive a more concrete update on the issue sooner rather than later.
