It wasn't just former United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice who made an appearance during the Indiana Fever's practice on Tuesday, September 3. Caitlin Clark and Co. had not one, but two surprise guests during what turned out to be an eventful practice day at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Ched-Z, the famed mascot of Cheez-It, also decided to grace the occasion. He even played a bit of 1-on-1 against Indiana mascot Freddy Fever. Apparently, Ched-Z can ball out, and he proved just that by hitting an insane no-look over-the-back triple right in front of Freddy. As expected, the Fever mascot was floored after seeing that epic trick shot hit the bottom of the net.

Ched-Z also got the chance to interact with Clark and the rest of the Fever squad after practice.

Apparently, third-year guard Lexie Hull is a fan of the Cheez-It mascot.

Of course, Ched-Z came bearing gifts. He surprised the players and the staff with loads of Cheez-It snacks to reward them for all the hard work they put in during practice.

Based on the big smiles the team had during the photo-op, it is clear that they enjoyed Ched-Z's appearance.

As it turns out, the fans are about to get some Ched-Z action themselves. Cheez-It has partnered with the Fever for their upcoming home game against the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday, September 4.

It's going to be a Cheez-It-packed occasion with the popular cracker brand setting up all sorts of gimmicks for the game, which is highlighted by a "Game of Cheez," wherein a lucky fan will participate in an on-court shoot-out to win a free year’s supply of Cheez-It crackers.

More importantly, though, the home supporters will be hoping that Ched-Z turns out to be a lucky charm for the team as they look to secure their fifth straight win against a 7-25 Sparks side.
