Jets 'Hardest Team To Prepare For', Says Bill Belichick

The New York Jets have a stacked offense. Starting with a healthy Aaron Rodgers, the Jets’ quarterback situation is vastly improved over last year. At receiver, there’s the 2022 Offensive Rookie of the Year, Garrett Wilson. And their bell cow back is third-year back Breece Hall.

In early 2022, Hall was on his way to becoming the ROTY himself. A torn ACL halted his bid and his season. He is heading into his second season removed from surgery and is in the best shape of his life.

Former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, a six-time Super Bowl winning coach, recently declared that the Jets are one of “the hardest teams to prepare for.”

"The Jets are one of the hardest teams to prepare for from a skill standpoint because of Breece Hall," Belichick said during an appearance on Underdog Fantasy. "Outstanding running back that has the ability to take the ball the distance.

“He's very good in the passing game, and defensively you want to do everything you can to get the ball out of his hands and load the box."

A lot of defenses will line up to stuff the run when a dominant back is on the field, but Belichick warns, if you do that with the Jets you are liable to get burned.

"The problem is, if you load the box, you're singled out there on Wilson, and that's a tall order," Belichick added.

Rodgers is so savvy at the line of scrimmage that he almost instantly knows what defense you are in, which guys are blitzing, and what coverage you are playing.

At the end of the day, the Jets are a three-headed monster. If you guess wrong against Rodgers & Co…… you’re toast.
