The New York Knicks signing Jalen Brunson in the 2022 offseason is looking really good right about now, as he was one of the best players in the entire NBA this past season.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report , they re-grade some of the most important free agency signings from the last five years. It is safe to say they are a fan of the Knicks signing Brunson back in 2022, as they grade the move an "A+++++."

"If there is a downside to New York landing Brunson, it's yet to reveal itself," Dan Favale writes. "His time on the Knicks has so far exceeded even the most outrageously optimistic expectations."

Brunson was coming off of an average of 16 points per game in his last season with the Dallas Mavericks, but as we know, he has improved tremendously since then.

He averaged just under 29 points per game this past season, and he did so on some fantastic shooting percentages. He has become the centerpiece of what the Knicks are trying to do going forward, and that is to contend with the likes of the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference.

If Brunson can build off of what he did last season and continue to improve, the Knicks could be in great position to contend for their first championship since 1973.
