The defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs have set their sights on making NFL history during the 2024-25 season by winning their third consecutive Super Bowl, which has never been done before.

That journey starts Thursday night when the Chiefs hang their banner, and then kick off the regular season against the Baltimore Ravens , whom they defeated in the AFC Championship last season.

Ahead of the primetime matchup, the Chiefs released a passionate five-word message before the season begins.

"WE'RE SO BACK !! IT"S GAMEDAY." Chiefs posted via X.

Kansas City is still led by Patrick Mahomes , Travis Kelce , and company and seems to be hungrier than ever for their third straight, and until someone knocks them off their throne, they will continue to be the kings of the AFC and the kings of the NFL.

Starting off their season with two AFC North opponents will be a good challenge. After facing Baltimore Thursday night, they will get another headlining matchup with Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2, who they have formed quite the rivalry with over the last few seasons.

This is a different-looking Chiefs team from many aspects, though. They have added some new reinforcements. One being rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who has a very impressive camp, along with Marquis Brown and Samaje Perine. The offense will have a different kick to it and should be an interesting development to watch as the season progresses.
