Even with the Washington Commanders under new leadership, they still can't seem to get away from major controversies.

The Commanders suspended vice president of content, Rael Enteen for comments made regarding the team and league personnel to an undercover reporter.

"The language used in the video runs counter to our values at the Commanders organization," a team spokesperson said in a statement. "We have suspended the employee pending an investigation and will reserve further comment at this time."

Enteen had met the reporter multiple times on Hinge based on reports from ESPN that called many players on the Commanders "white religious, and God says, 'F--- the gays.' Their interpretation. I don't buy any of that. Another big chunk is low-income African Americans that comes from a community that is inherently very homophobic."

Since Josh Harris bought the team last season, the Commanders have pushed to try and find ways to bring legitimacy back to a once proud franchise.

With Enteen's suspension, though, Washington has shown the rest of the league that running a stable group of both on and off-field personnel may be harder than originally expected.

And it doesn't help that this suspension is coming from a person on the content team.
