Three-time All-Pro defensive back Richard Sherman is among the NFL analysts to make their preseason Super Bowl picks before the start of the 2024 regular season.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens will kickoff the 2024 season with a Week 1 matchup on Thursday night, and Sherman believes one of those teams will be crowned champion at the end of the year.

Sherman is going with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to record the first ever Super Bowl three-peat.

Sherman feels if any team wanted to challenge the Chiefs for NFL supremacy, last year was their chance. The former cornerback believes Kansas City is now even stronger heading into the 2024 season.

"Last year was your chance. Last year was your chance," Sherman said on The Richard Sherman Podcast. "If you were going to beat them, they were having an off year. Mahomes was having a 'non-Mahomes' year. They didn't have home-field advantage throughout the entire playoffs. That was your chance."

"I think if you were going to get them, you had to get them last year," Sherman continued. "They didn't get them. So yes, I think [the Chiefs] can repeat... Last year was a very missed opportunity for a lot of people."
