Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes in Different Suites at Chiefs Season Opener

Taylor Swift was back in the spotlight at the Kansas City Chiefs season opener against the Baltimore Ravens, making a big entrance and then grabbing some screen time during the game.

But another famous face was missing from Swift's suite at Arrowhead Stadium, which caught the attention of fans.

Swift was shown on the NBC broadcast of Thursday's game chatting with boyfriend Travis Kelce's father, Ed Kelce, in the family's luxury suite. Though Swift was often seen last season with Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, The Daily Mail noted that the pair were in different suites for Thursday's game.

The report noted that some fans thought Swift was attempting to intentionally "snub" Mahomes, though it is not clear if that's the case. The pair had been close in the past and spent time together at Swift's Rhode Island beach house just days ahead of the start of the season.

Swift will surely garner more screen time over the course of the season. An ESPN executive revealed this offseason that the network saw a significant bump in ratings after Swift and Kelce started dating and she became a regular at Chiefs games.
